Connections and longing, for some it’s obvious. For others too subtle. And I ? I never knew where I belonged.
It was never obvious for me.
Connection often happened in silence,
Deep, yes, but elusive, almost unreal.
They lived in glances,
In little words,
In memories.
I lived a thousand lives with some people ,
Through our eyes,
The things we didn’t say, our breaths,
And a mutual glimmer of hope.
I have loved a lot,
Dreamt, felt deeply,
But never knew how to materialize such feelings.
And the others facing me,
They didn’t know either.
As if they stepped into my silent world,
While I longed to enter theirs,
A world of expression.
I’ve felt a thousand drops,
Been grazed a thousand times,
But never once held in someone’s arms.
In the end, even a whisper can leave a mark,
You only need to feel it once,
For something to spark.
