My first year of blogging

On the fifth of July, my blog turned one.

This past year was my first real experience of online creation, my very first website. I published fifty seven articles, moving between poetry, painting, travel, the craft of writing, the search for inspiration, loneliness, love, the labels we carry from childhood, and my ongoing novel following Isis as she travels between planets, still unfinished.

I also put up for sale two small magazines, one on life, one on health. Neither has sold yet, but I intend to keep trying.

I learned a lot along the way. I tried to improve my writing, find new topics, manage a WordPress blog, and slowly shape a design I actually like, though the landing page still needs work to guide visitors more clearly.

By the end of the year, I had reached two thousand five hundred and forty views, and eleven subscribers.

For a few months, I stopped writing. Not because the desire had gone, but because life left little room for it. I was moving through personal difficulties that took most of what I had.

Still, I kept thinking about my blog, my small corner of the internet. I missed it.

For this new year, I intend to keep publishing. I want to add a Practical category, to write about AI, law, and politics in France and across Europe.

Thank you to everyone who has read me, liked a post, or followed along. I appreciate the support, quietly and sincerely.
